From a moviegoer’s perspective, the 2026 horror year offers pattern and spread. The awards and festival pipeline into 2027 will come into focus once the fall festivals lock, and it would not be surprising to see at least one closing-window arthouse pickup join the party. For now, the job is simple, deliver taut trailers, guard the secrets, and let the shudders sell the seats.
